Bacon Cheeseburger Ground Beef Pasta Skillet

Ingredients

  • (3 slices, diced) Beef Bacon
  • (1 finely diced) Sweet Onion
  • Ground beef
  • (1 teaspoon) Kosher Salt
  • (1/2 teaspoon) Black Pepper
  • (8 oz) Pasta Shells
  • (2 1/2 cups) Beef Broth
  • (3 tablespoons) Worcestershire Sauce
  • (1/4 cup) Ketchup
  • (3 tablespoons) Yellow Mustard
  • (2 tablespoons) Mayo
  • (6 oz) Shredded Colby Jack

Directions

Instructions

  1. Mix the burger sauce ingredients together and set aside. Turn on your oven's broiler.
      • 1/4 cup Sugar Free Ketchup
      • 3 Tablespoons Yellow Mustard
      • 2 Tablespoons Light Mayo
  2. Add the bacon to a cold pan over medium-high heat. Once cooked, transfer to a paper towel and add the onion to the rendered bacon fat.
  3. Stir and cook until the onions begin to soften, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Push to one side of the pan and brown the ground beef on one side in the other half. Add the salt and pepper, break the beef apart, mix with the onions, and fully cook.
  5. Once the beef is fully cooked, add the broth and Worcestershire. Stir everything together before adding the pasta shells.
  6. Cook for 6 minutes until the pasta is just shy of al dente before turning off the heat. Add the burger sauce and 4 oz of cheese. Stir everything together and top with the cooked bacon and remaining 2 oz of cheese. Broil for 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
